Our ambition: to develop organic, traceable value chains, structured over time, able to create value for producers, territories and our clients.
We develop organic, traceable value chains, structured over time. Our role is to connect producers, collectors, processing partners and markets to build a value chain that is clearer, more reliable and better shared. This requirement applies as much to product quality as to the way the value chain is built.
Organic is today the foundation of our model. When it makes sense for the value chain and the market, we go further with fair-trade, local development and ecosystem-preservation approaches.
At Valúdo, a commitment is not a statement: it is a practice, documented and verifiable.

Quality begins at origin and is built at every stage: material selection, process control, and batch consistency and control.

Organic is today the foundation of our value chains. When relevant for the origin, the material and market expectations, we also develop fair-trade approaches, to go further in the relationship with producers and in value sharing.

Each material has its own characteristics, its own uses and its own requirements. We adapt our control plans to products, origins and client expectations, with the support of partner laboratories in Europe.

Understanding a material also means being able to explain where it comes from. We structure our value chains to document origin, production and processing partners, and to ensure suitable traceability to the delivered batch.

A value chain is not built on a series of one-off purchases. We favour lasting relationships with producers, collectors and processing partners, to progressively improve quality, supply reliability and local value creation.
We don't want to pit agricultural performance against the preservation of territories. We favour models that build on existing ecosystems: wild harvesting, maintaining plantations in place, rehabilitating plots, keeping tree cover and conservation-farming practices.
The aim is to produce and add value to local resources without shifting to a logic of systematic land conversion or intensive agriculture.

No Tree Cutting is not a third-party certification, but a commitment specific to Valúdo. It reflects a simple principle: preserve existing trees and ecosystems, particularly on value chains based on wild harvesting or tree-based farming systems.
Preserve before producing more.
Certifications are mobilised depending on the products, value chains and markets concerned.

The European organic certification governing how a product is produced, processed and marketed as organic in the EU.

The French organic logo, recognised on the French market, backed by EU organic regulation.

A fair-trade standard relying notably on minimum-price mechanisms, lasting trade relationships and a development fund for producer communities.

A French scheme combining organic farming, lasting value-chain relationships and fair-trade commitments.

Certification applicable depending on references, attesting compliance with the Vegan standard. On the coconut value chains concerned, we also favour manual harvesting, without the use of animals.

The organic certification recognised on the US market.

A commitment specific to Valúdo, in favour of keeping trees and preserving existing ecosystems.
Certifications and commitments applicable depending on products, value chains and origins. Up-to-date certificates available on request.
We don't seek to add up figures from different origins to produce a global indicator. Each value chain has its own story, organisation and challenges. We track our impacts at the level of each origin, through suitable indicators.
These data are documented in our value-chain reports and consolidated progressively as our new origins take shape.
Our historic value chain now lets us concretely measure what this model can create at the scale of a territory.
For nearly ten years, the development fund has supported very concrete projects for local communities:
Producers and collectors involved in the value chain.

Local teams engaged in collection, processing, quality and operations.

Farming areas maintained, valued and certified Organic.

Because a fair value chain is measured not only by the price paid, but also by what it helps build around it.
Our ambition now is to apply the same level of monitoring and transparency to all our new value chains.
Building a value chain over time also means investing in the people who make it live. In São Tomé and Príncipe as in France, we encourage training, skills development, empowerment and internal growth. We seek to identify talent, help teams progress and create the conditions for everyone to take on more responsibility as Valúdo develops.
Our ambition: grow the teams at the same pace as the value chains.

Certificates, value-chain reports, traceability data and monitoring elements are available depending on origins and projects.
